The D'Addario Acoustic Guitar Humidifier is a soundhole humidifier that helps maintain proper moisture inside an acoustic guitar. It suspends from the strings in the soundhole so it does not touch the instrument body, releasing moisture from a dampened sponge slowly and evenly. It is intended to help protect the guitar from damage caused by low humidity.
