JJ Electronic ECC83S / 12AX7 Preamp Tube

The JJ ECC83S is a 12AX7 high-gain dual-triode preamp tube manufactured in the Slovak Republic. It is designed for low noise and low microphonics and offers a balanced tone with defined lows, present mids, and smooth highs. Compared with some higher-gain 12AX7 variants it allows a bit more clean headroom, making it a common all-purpose choice for preamp positions in guitar amplifiers. It is a direct replacement for 12AX7, ECC83, and 7025 type tubes.
