The Evans G1 Coated is a single-ply drumhead made from one 10-mil ply of film with a coated finish, here in a 14-inch size for use as a snare or tom batter. The single ply produces an open, resonant sound with bright attack and long sustain, while the coating adds warmth. It features Evans Level 360 technology for easier seating and tuning across the bearing edge.
